Overview  

ISIS 19 conference will be oriented towards multidisciplinary applications, integrating the theoretical models, advanced numerical simulations and experimental techniques. This integration enables the study of new concepts, such as those related to the miniaturization of energy systems (MEMS)  aerospace applications (micropropulsion), military (turbine combustion by shock waves, miniaturized to actuator high-power), or biomedical.

ISIS 19 provides the opportunity to expose new discoveries and developments in shock waves and high-speed flows and focuses on fundamental issues and physical mechanisms of detailed shock-wave interactions using both advanced measurement techniques, theory, and modelling. Advances in this field continue to have a revolutionary impact on the engineering sciences and permit the examination of scientific and engineering problems of increasing complexity.

This event helps to update the knowledge base on the propagation phenomena of shock waves in homogeneous and heterogeneous environments, to promote new scientific guidelines and exchanges in the field of aerodynamics and supersonic flows.
